About Me
Hi, I’m Stefan. I transform complex data into actionable insights that support business decisions. With a background in quantitative research across psychology, political and economic sciences, I bridge the gap between raw data and practical applications using R, Python, and SQL. Based in NRW, Germany, with significant international experience.
I focus on applied analytics, including predictive modeling and data-driven decision support, combined with clear stakeholder communication (in English and German). My work includes designing robust analyses, engineering features for reliable models, and translating results into concise, actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
Over the past 4.5 years, I worked on a large-scale European project, applying statistical models to analyze complex risk patterns and support decision-making. I am now applying this expertise in an industry setting, focusing on business-relevant problems and measurable outcomes. I also maintain several side projects.
What I bring
- Strong domain understanding combined with applied data science
- Identifying key drivers in complex datasets and translating them into actionable insights
- Building and validating statistical and machine learning models
- Managing end-to-end analytical projects and communicating results to stakeholders
Outside of work, I enjoy basketball, as well as following developments in financial markets and AI.
